The Commons #101
"This is so cute!", "I love how quiet it is inside.", "It really feels like a beach home.", "Very livable.", - those are just some of the ways our previous renters have described The Commons at Seashell. This newly built, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Townhome was designed with families and friends in mind from the start. We built The Commons to be a place where we would want to stay with our own families and bring our friends to. That led us to spend a lot of time thinking about how to make The Commons a fun and practical place that offered a real community feel.
First of all, Unit 101 at the The Commons is just steps away from the central common area and swimming pool. No need for a long hike just to cool off with a quick dip in the pool. The cabana and charcoal grill is just as close, so if you want to cook out, you don't have far to carry food from your kitchen. It's great to be able to step outside your front door, sit on your own front porch, and on the spur of the moment visit with your friends or extended family members vacationing with you - without having to arrange a meeting somewhere else.
But, even with people you love, sometimes you need some quiet time for yourself or your children. We chose to build The Commons with a different construction technique that offers the maximum in windstorm protection, energy efficiency, and sound proofing. With 12 inch thick walls surrounding each Townhome, you can easily put the kids to bed while your neighbors are still up having fun, without worrying about the noise from next door keeping them awake. No other multi-unit project on the Island offers this unique advantage.
And finally, it has a cute and fun, beachy style that is simply livable. The downstairs offers an open floor plan with full kitchen, dining table that seats 8 and a living room with HDTV. There is even a 1/2 bath downstairs. Upstairs each unit has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and one smaller bunk room for kids, and 2 full baths - easily accommodating 1-2 families together. Stained concrete floor downstairs and sealed wood floors upstairs means beach sand is easily and completely cleaned out before and during your stay - great for people with allergies. A simple but fully furnished kitchen means you can easily find everything you need to prepare meals for your own family or to share. And we thought of many small details that make a big difference, such as the outdoor shower near the front door of each unit, or the rosemary plants in the common area that smell so good as you walk by them, and our wildly popular hammocks next to the pool that are ideal for a snooze in the sun!
